This blog will help you begin to speak life over your situations. What I love about good principles and laws are that anyone can use them. You don’t have to believe in gravity however it keeps you on the ground. The same with sowing and reaping. If you plant seeds in the right soil, they will grow. The same goes for our words. What we speak out is what we find happening in and around our lives!
Take an inventory of your words. What path do your words have you on?
We all have multiple areas of our lives that need attention. Often, we fight time. We struggle to fit what matters most into our lives. We don’t have or make the time every day to speak life much less over every area of our lives. So how do I start? I am so glad you asked.
The answer is beautiful. You do not have to speak to every area every day! Break it up! Give yourself time to become comfortable with the process.
Make a schedule for yourself. This is only an example of what it could look like but you fill in your own blanks.
Monday – Focus on your home, spouse and/or children.
Tuesday – Speak to your current and future finances/opportunities.
Wednesday -Declare health and long life to your body even if you are healthy and well.
Thursday – Speak life over your relationships with extended family and friends.
Friday – Speak life and pray for your church and government leaders.
Saturday – Use one day to practice speaking to what is on your heart.
Sunday – Take the day to rest and be thankful.
I am including a sample declaration. This includes scriptures from the Word of God. I don’t always quote the chapter and verses. You may want to write out the promise when you find one for your situation so you quote it correctly until you memorize the verse.
Be creative! Use colored sticky notes or index cards sticking them in places you use everyday, start a journal of declarations and Bible verses to declare, create your own notebook. The possibilities are endless of how you keep these powerful words before you however, the life-changing results come from daily speaking out loud what God says about you and over you!
Sample Declaration
I declare I belong to the Lord Almighty for he chose me in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined me to be adopted as his sons and daughters through Jesus Christ. I chose, declared, and accepted the Lord to be my savior and King, therefore, I also choose to operate in the Kingdom system of God.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper for I have been marked by God. I reject all attacks, sickness, disease, any plan to bring harm, steal, or destroy any area of my life. I declare the blood of Jesus to be applied to every aspect and part of my life today and every day ahead of me.
I declare a long, strong, healthy life. I declare my body and mind to walk in divine health and healing. God desires that I enjoy good health and that all goes well with me, even as my soul prospers.
I declare my relationship with God to deepen daily that my heart would desire more time with the Lord, more understanding, and desire to search out his heart. Obedience would be the automatic reaction to his requests knowing blessings and protection follow my obedience.
I declare as a tither the flood gates of heaven are open wide pouring out so much blessing that I have not room to put it. The blessing is protected, and no sorrow comes along with it. Thank you, Lord, for your protection over everything my hands’ touch and over every way my resources flow in and out.
I declare I walk in divine wisdom and knowledge coming straight from the Holy Spirit within me. The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead that quickens my body, teaches me, convicts me, guides me, and intercedes for me.
I declare a sound mind so that the words of my mouth and the mediations of my heart are pleasing in your sight. O Lord my rock and my redeemer.
Thank you, Father, you save your anointed, you hear all my requests, and you sent Jesus, who is now seated at your right hand, to save us and restore your power to be at work in and through me. I trust you, Lord. I believe your words, for they will never return void! I will rise up and stand firm on your Word!
I could go on and on making declarations from the Word of God. This is just a sample and you can even modify it. If you have a spouse or family, change the pronouns to we, us and our. You can even make only one declaration. There are no rules for this. Your words carry weight, let’s use our words wisely
Enjoy! Be sure to share your stories with me! I would love to hear them!
