I am a child of the Lord, wife, mother, friend, and teacher. I have loved the Lord since I was 5 years old, although I had a very rocky road through the majority of my college years. When I was 23 years of age, I had an awakening moment and decided I needed to head back to God. This time it was not religion, which I despise, it was a grounded relationship that has changed me to my core. I found much healing throughout the journey. I am sure my story will unfold throughout this blog.
I am married to the love of my life, Darin. He is amazing and I am so blessed to have him as my best friend, confident, and side kick. This year, we will celebrate 23 years of an amazing journey. It has not been a perfect journey however it keeps getting better with work. We have 3 great children, all growing up incredibly fast. As of today, our daughter is 19, and our sons are 16 and 14 years young.
A teacher at heart, I so enjoy seeing people of all ages learn and grow. I especially like seeing peopled healed and set free. I have personally experienced this in my own life, as well as seeing many through the years set free. I enjoy teaching and continue to write biblical studies. I have spoken at conferences. I truly enjoy encouraging people to seek after the best that is available for them. I say these things with great humility for without the direction I have received in my relationship with God, I know I wouldn’t have experienced nor had the amazing opportunities I have mentioned.
My family and I live in the gorgeous Sarasota area of Florida. We made the decision to move here 12 years ago and can honestly say this move was God’s best for us.
