I am just as passionate for the children of God to see the scriptures clearly and take to heart the message God has given us! No one knows the day or the hour when the Father will tell His Son to get his bride. We do not know exactly what we will need to stand up against until that day. Ask yourself, am I ready? Do I discern evil and the enemy’s plans? What boundaries do I have for myself that I will not cross?
Look at what Jesus foretold in Luke 21:5-21
The Signs of the End of the Age
5 Some of the disciples remarked about the beauty of the temple. They pointed out all the lovely adornments and how it was built with excellence from the gifts given to God.
Jesus said, 6 “The day will come that everything you admire here will be utterly destroyed. It will all become a heap of rubble!”
7 “Master, tell us,” they asked, “when exactly will this happen? Can you tell us what warning sign to look for when it is about to take place?”
8 Jesus responded, “Deception will run rampant with many who will appear on the scene, saying I have sent them or saying about themselves, ‘I am the Messiah!’ And the doomsday deceivers will say, ‘The end of the age is now here!’ But listen to me. Don’t be fooled by these imposters.
9 “There will also be many wars and revolutions on every side, with rumors of more wars to come. Don’t panic or give in to your fears, for these things are bound to happen. This is still not the end yet.”
10 Jesus continued, “There will be upheavals of every kind. Nations will go to war against each other and kingdom against kingdom— 11 and there will be terrible earthquakes, seismic events of epic proportions, resulting in famines in one place after another. There will be horrible plagues and epidemics, cataclysmic storms on the earth, and astonishing signs and cosmic disturbances in the heavens. But before all of this happens, you will be hunted down and arrested, persecuted by both civil and religious authorities, and thrown into prison. 12–13 And because you follow me, you will be on trial before kings and governmental leaders as an opportunity to testify to them in my name. 14–15 Yet determine in your hearts not to prepare for your own defense. Simply speak with the words of wisdom that I will give you that moment, and none of your persecutors will be able to withstand the grace and wisdom that comes from your mouths.
16 “You can expect betrayal even by your parents, your brothers, your relatives, and friends—and yes, some of you will die as martyrs. 17 You will be hated by all because of my life in you. 18 But don’t worry. My grace will never desert you or depart from your life. 19 And by standing firm with patient endurance you will find your souls’ deliverance.”
The plans of our enemy continue to be unleashed. They are unfolding boldly before our eyes. The deception Jesus talked about is greater than ever, especially among some in the faith.
Many don’t want to read the verses above out of fear. I remember being fearful of these verses at one point in my life. However, not today! I know who I am in Christ! No matter what comes against me, He is with me! God has given me everything I need to succeed, win, take ground, and defeat every enemy. What an honor to live during these days. Thank you, Lord, for seeing us through with your wisdom, leadership, and power!
Look closely at these verses. Compare them to what you see going on around you.
Now look deeper for the instructions Jesus gave us to overcome. These are our responsibility:
-Don’t be fooled by the imposters! We need to have discernment so ask for it!
-Don’t panic or give into fear, these events must happen. And remember, it is still not the end.
-Did you notice that even though seismic events and catastrophes are all around …you have not died…you are still here!
– Determine in your hearts not to prepare for your own defense. Simply speak with wisdom the words that the Holy Spirit will give you. Those words will overwhelm your persecutors with the grace and wisdom that comes from your mouth.
-Don’t worry – God’s grace will never leave you
-Stand firm with patient endurance and you will see your soul’s deliverance!
We must ask ourselves, what kind of relationship do I really have with God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit? Am I spending enough time with the Lord? Am I listening and obeying His voice?
1 John 2:1-6 (TPT)tells us “Here’s how we can be sure that we’ve truly come to know God: if we keep his commands. If someone claims, ‘I have come to know God by experience’, yet doesn’t keep God’s commands, he is a phony and the truth finds no place in him. But the love of God will be perfected within the one who obeys God’s Word. We can be sure that we’ve truly come to live in intimacy with God, not just by saying, ‘I am intimate with God,’ but by walking in the footsteps of Jesus.
God has given us everything we need to succeed! It is all in us who believe and have received him.
Read 2 Peter 1.
You have access to God, the one who created it all! You have access to and through Jesus, who has been given all authority over every power and principality! Jesus left earth so you can have Holy Spirit just like He had. You have His authority!
It is our choice how we finish our race. I desire to finish strong! I believe you do too! The war is raging and it is time to answer the tough questions and fight the good fight in the power of our Savior and King! All of heaven is cheering you onward!
