In the Storm

As I write this, hurricane Ian is approaching Florida. My family is so grateful for our relationship with the Lord God! God is everything we could ever need! Protection, provision, and peace are just a few of the things we have ample supply of. Today, there is laughter, joy, peace, and great expectation of his promises in our home amidst the storm.

I am going to write out Psalms 91 in a personal way for you. Listen to what God has promised you. Every time God uses the word will, it is his promise to you. He can not say no to you!

“When I sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, I am hidden in the strength of God Most High. He is the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence.
He will rescue me from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect me from false accusations and any deadly curse.
His massive arms are wrapped around me, protecting me. I can run under his covering of majesty and hide.
His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping me from harm.
I will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against me.
I will not fear a thing!
Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble me, nor will the powers of evil launched against me. Even in times of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, I will remain unscathed and unharmed.
I will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done!
When I live my life within the shadow of God Most High, my secret hiding place, I will always be shielded from harm.
How then could evil prevail against me or disease infect me?
God sends angels with special orders to protect me wherever I go, defending me from all harm. If I walk into a trap, they will be there for me and keep me from stumbling.
I will even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath my feet!
For this is what the lord has spoken to me:
(insert your name), Because you have delighted in me as my great lover, I will greatly protect you. I will set you in a high place, safe and secure before my face. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel my presence even in your time of pressure and trouble. I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast. You will be satisfied with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation! “

Declare Psalm 91 aloud for yourself as often as you need! God will protect you and satisfy you when you believe.
