Are you ready? Ready for all God has for you? If you are, it is time to spend even more time with the Lord in prayer and His Word. Over the past two years, I have intentionally studied the Bible focusing on the latter days. Most of these scriptures are intimidating because they describe hard and frightening times to come. However, in the midst of these verses there, you will find so much treasure.
The treasure will be the keys to overcoming these difficult days. When you put these keys into practice, you will have the ability to come through victorious!
A word I have focused on over the past six months is BELIEVE. The Lord has challenged me to examine myself. What do I believe? Do I believe the Word wholeheartedly? Do I believe every promise is for me? Do my actions prove I believe what God says? Do my first words in any situation, especially difficult ones, echo the Word of God?
In Matthew, Jesus tells us, ” The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”
It is time to root out the world’s way of thinking. As believers, we need to think and act as our Savior, Jesus would.
It is a time to search for what is in our hearts. Does our heart reflect the heart of our Heavenly Father? Is there any house cleaning that we need to do? Ask Holy Spirit. He is eager to spend time with you and willing to show you. Ask Holy Spirit to help you hear what you are speaking. You might be surprised. The best part will be the revelation of any area in need. Most importantly, remember the power of Christ is right there in that moment to set you free. Just ask!
