I am a child of God, his daughter, his very own creation, his idea, his plan, his delight, his joy, his affection, his good thoughts! I am His.
If I am his child, a daughter, and He is good with no evil in him at all, then do I live, breathe, and act as I belong to him? Do my actions line up with these truths? Do my thoughts directly go here on my best and even my worst days?
If I believe I am here on this amazing planet because in his great plan he spent the time to consider my beginning, who my parents would be, where I would be born, the gifts, interests, and talents I possess, then how much more should I be holding onto his words and direction for my life.
I have spent a few days pondering these things. I am examining my thoughts and making some adjustments! I desire all God has for me. I do not want to sell myself short because I chose to limit myself based on how I see my own personal shortcomings in my own understanding.
I love the way The Passion Translation translates God’s promise to Abraham concerning a son. Hebrews 6:14 tells us God told Abraham, “I promise to bless you over and over and give you a son and multiply you without measure.” We as God’s kids inherit this promise given to Abraham and are the living miracle of it. We belong to God Almighty! God desires so much for us if we would hold on to His Words and act in faith believing it is the absolute truth that cannot be moved!
I am excited for 2019! I am excited for the answers to prayers! I am excited to experience God on a deeper level, to know him more intimately! I am thrilled that I am not alone in this world! Not only do I have an amazing husband, wonderful children, God-given friends, an amazing church, an incredible circle of people to do life with my family, but I also have the best treasure of all and that is Jesus! There is nothing higher than him! Therefore, let us not give in to the things that distract, separate, and hold us back from believing, trusting, hoping and being relentless in our pursuit of our heavenly father! He has so much for each of us!
